The Grand Trunk Western Railroad operated throughout the midwest including Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio with one of its most notable routes being Chicago-Detroit.  Several miles of the Grand Trunk train tracks went directly through Black Bottom and can still be found on some old streets today.  

Grand Trunk Espresso is a blend of Mundo Novo(Brazil) and Castillo/Colombia(Colombia).  This combination is classic and can be found in many espresso blends around the nation.  We named out signature espresso blend after the railway to highlight the important of transport to Detroit and the countless souls who conducted those midnight trains.  We know they lived off of a nice strong brew to get them through those commutes.
